For Immediate Release – Wichita United join the Surf Nation Family
San Diego, CA, February 22nd – Surf Nation is proud to announce the launch of its newest partner club, Wichita Surf, further expanding our collaborative community in the Midwest.
In the world of youth sports, the Surf brand & community are renowned for professionalism, on-field performance, football education, and most importantly, a deep commitment to player development. Surf’s mission is to create the bestexperiences and opportunities for players, and we’re excited to announce our next step in achieving that goal in Wichita, KS.
Wichita United will begin to transition into Wichita Surf, The club launches in partnership with Surf Nation, an organization which has a proven track record of developing players into international youth training centers, professional academies, and collegiate ranks. Led by a truly experienced leadership team with deep roots in the community, Wichita Surf will continue delivering a high-quality player development environment to ensure we are the premium youth soccer destination. Through the transition to Surf, players, families, and coaches will gain access to greater resources both on and off the field.
With the addition of Wichita Surf, Surf Nation continues to strengthen its presence in the Midwest, providing players and coaches with access to proven development standards, expanded pathways, and a nationally connected soccer community—while maintaining a strong local identity and commitment to grassroots development.
I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Jorge & Mike over a short period of time and I am looking forward to working with the full leadership team.
